IWC Schaffhausen

Because I will be traveling a bit between now and the end of the month, I want to take time to wish everyone on the Collectors' Forum a Joyous Holiday Season and a Prosperous New Year.

I will let my PPC send the message to one and all.

This year has been a joy for me here on the forum. I value my US based and international friendships with fellow Forum members. In the end, the best thing about this IWC sponsored Forum is the chance to make friends with a great group of fellow collectors from all over the world. We all share the same passion. I especially want to thank MF for his friendship and expert moderation skills. Thanks goes to IWC management starting at the top and at all levels in the ranks for always being there for us. It looks like 2013 will be another outstanding year for IWC. I am sorry I can't make SIHH this year. I will miss seeing many of you again. I look forward to your pictures and descriptions of the events from that week.

Additionally, it has been a great year as I passed 4,000 post mark and had the opportunity to participate with Kevin and Alan in several NYC GTG at the Flagship Boutique. I will close out the year this Saturday with another GTG with our vintage friend Antonio Gomes and with Kevin and his lovely wife. Lastly, I hope to pick up my newest IWC addition on Saturday as well. I say hopefully as the acquisition is being shipped from Schaffhausen this week. I have my fingers crossed it will arrive in time for our Saturday GTG.

And Bill... I hope Santa drops that *** down the boutique chimney in time for your visit.

Happy Xmas to you Bill and I hope you can do a reveal soon without copying the antics of Andrew in your great reveal. So we can deduce that's it's new but haven't got a clue as to the model.

I agree with your words and thoughts. Those of us here on the forum have much to be thankful for. I espically am greatful for the Friends made here and around the world. From you, Alan, Nelson,Nad & MF to Andrew, Mark, Ralph, David and Oliver in Europe and Shing, KS Low and Benny across the Pacific as well as many others, your friendship and enabling has made my life fuller. Thanks all and

Very nice sentiments expressed in this thread. As I am a relative newcomer here, I haven't yet been able to meet many of you. I have had the distinct pleasure of meeting Nad and Oliver (and the even greater pleasure of meeting Mrs. Nad) and look forward to meeting more of you in the new year. I've also been fortunate to correspond with a number of you which has always been a pleasure. My brief time here has been very rewarding.

So to all of my new friends, wishing you happy, safe and healthy holidays and all of the best in 2013.
