Hello,
I like this one, however it's not a Yacht Club.
You may enter the case number, and in case you have it the movement number in the Date-your-IWC application to get info of the year of production: Date-your-IWC

Great watch with a real cool bracelet too.
The calibre is probably a Cal. 8541 or 8541B which is a true workhorse and efficient movement with it's Pellaton winding system.
But unless you know how, we suggest you take it to a local qualified watchmaker to open the watch so that you can write down the serial numbers. Note all information on the inside of the case back, and the serial number on the movement. I would also suggest, to have it serviced via an AD.

Tomorrow I go to the qualified watchmaker to open the watch for write all references.

Yeah,
Michael was right - 819 is the same as 1819 in the later reference system.
Running the numbers in the Date-your-IWC application indicates production around 1969.
8541B is a great movement, very robust and with the IWC-unique Pellaton winding system. Take good care of her. I would definitely recommend a full service.
Refinshed dial explains the lack of "AUTOMATIC", you never know, if you're lucky there might be a NOS dial available in Schaffhausen.
I am in possession of an IWC "Yacht Club style".
Is this true ?
Can you give me a real name and production year?
The crown isn't original !
Thank you for your kind help.
Here is a picture of it:

The Vintage Catalogue Project, a good source to use for tracing vintage references.
Good luck!

Could it be a reference 1819?

Many thanks again,

Text on the watch back cover shows :
INTERNATIONAL WATCH CO.
R 819 A
1919626
And text on the movement shows:
TWENTY-THREE 23 JEWELS
ADJUSTED TO FIVE (5) POSITIONS
C8541B
1942352
And the dial has sudden a restoration (several indicators were hand-painted).

I've just got back my IWC. The watchmaker changed the stalk (winder) and the crown by one of original crown.
Now, I'm looking for a dial. There are still "old" watchmaker who hold spare parts of IWC.

Thanks for all comments,
Jean-Christophe
With patience and frequent monitoring of various watch sites (incl ebay) I'm sure you sooner or later will be able to source a dial in nice condition.
