Holiday Greetings fellow IWC collectors...
I don't post much on this forum but i frequent it daily reading through many of your posts. I was infected by the IWC virus back in May when i purchased my first Portuguese Automatic 5001-14. Since then, I've been infected by the PAM virus. However, once you've been bitten by the incurable IWC virus, there's no turning back. Times after times I've suffered sleep deprivation due to constant itches by the virus.
Yesterday i picked up my second IWC, the Portuguese 5442-23 F.A.Jones after reading Mr. Friedberg's post on "Keeping up with the Joneses". This watch is a real beauty and I've never seen such elegant looking watch in my life. Picture could not justify how beautiful this watch is...
Last night i decided to swap straps with my 5001...

There is no help that can be provided. The IWC Uhren-virus is incurable and gets worse with time. The FA Jones is a terrific IWC. The back side is a wonderful as the dial side. Congratulations and condolences since no cure is available here.

Omar Khayyám (Persia XI-XII Century) offered that Time should not only be measured in length but also in width due to the intrinsic difference between a minute or other depending on what is happening to the beholder... I wonder how a watch would look like...
