Hello, My wife bought me this watch and I don't wear it very often. I am interested to find out from this community what model the watch is and the value of it. I do not have box or papers. THank you, Bernard

From appearance alone I am guessing it is a Cal 83 from 1940's. If you carefully remove the back (or have a jeweler do it) and post photos of the movement and inside caseback showing serial number (on movement) and case number (inside back) we can tell you with greater certainty.
Value depends a great deal on the metal and the condition of the watch. If it is solid gold (should be marked on inside case back) it is certainly worth more than USD $1000.
