G'day folks,
First, a brief intro: I am from Malaysia and am currently residing in Qatar with my lovely wife. Work in the oil and gas industry, and have recently got addicted to mechanical watches! I've been lurking on this forum after purchasing the ME about a year ago. Love the pics and info!
I have noticed lately that there seems to be some "dirt" and lose particles in the dial. I have attached some pictures as below.
Anybody experienced this before and would know what is the cause?
I would like to know if this is covered under warranty, and what I should do about it. Watch is only a year old.
BTW, I bought it from a different country, and will the local AD be able to ship it to Schaffhausen for free?

Gday JWWong,
Firstly, welcome to the forum - you have chosen a great watch to start your IWC collection with.
As far as I know, IWC's warranty is a international one meaning you shouldn't have an issue taking it into the AD where you are. I cannot comment though on wether it will be covered under warranty but from experience IWC and Richemont offer very good after sales service so I would definitely be taking it into the local AD or directly to a local service center if there is one (not sure of Richemont's presence where you are) as you will likely find it can be corrected locally without a trip back to Schaffhausen.
Cheers,
Ben

I shall bring it to the AD and hope they will sort it out.
