David, every time you look outside and see the lovely countryside of Switzerland, think of how flat it is here in the Netherlands and you won't be jealous anymore! Well, maybe still a little but as you see, everything is relative :-)

Yes, quite great. The changes of January 1st: very nice, but you might find celebrations being in the way of enjoying it. You might consider to advance the watch a few hours when you want to make nice pictures, and then correct the time the next morning or so.
Kind regards, Paul

Two beautiful Perpetuals Giovanni! Thanks for sharing the pictures here.
Paul: I rather stop the watch at about 11 PM and start taking pictures when the others are sleeping :-) Thanks for the good advice though, I will see what I can do to closely watch the year change.

By the way... You may remember a few years back, I think it was the 2009-2010 new year, maybe it was 08-09...I did a live broadcast of 2 perpetuals set to CET and EST time via web cams with 5 second video refresh that people were able to access from their smartphones. I had people who were not even sick with the virus - or IWC owners telling me they were at New Years Eve parties huddled around a smartphone watching in amazement.
