Yesterday, I was at the NYC Flagship IWC Boutique and met up with fellow Forum member Evan Nanos and a new friend from HK. We had a great time looking over the wonderful IWC's on display. The HK guest is a commercial airline pilot who took a while admiring the Pilot watches and the AT's. He is great admirer of the technical aspects of watches. The Deep Two caught his fancy. He is an avid collector with several IWC's in his collection. I think Evan and I convinced him to post some on the Forum when he has time.
Here are a couple of the Pilot's watches that have been shown before.
The gold BP Perpetual is not to my taste, but it does make a bold statement. I know Nad is a fan of the Ali BP.
I do like the Ceramic Pilot's watches.
While we were there, I stood out on Madison Ave with hat in hand to collect some cash to pay for my inbound BP DFB. The Christmas Season pays off. LOL.

Sold a watch for cash. Part of proceeds paid for the incoming DFB. Left with cash in pocket and a paid up receipt. Still anxiously awaiting DFB's arrival.

The bills look real in the photo but I kept thinking they have to be fake. Something about a hatful of hundreds being outside my frame of reference. :)

Good to see you all had a great time but sorry to hear you left without your DFB BP. I hope it arrives soon and I am anxiously awaiting your wonderful pictures from this watch!
