...would be to acquire a 2012 limited edition of a watch...
I just love the color of the dial. It looks different when viewed at different angle/under different lighting:
Thanks to the generous hospitality of the boutique manager, I was given not one by two Santoni leather straps!
which color do you think matches the watch better? the black?
or the brown?
This watch is indeed a gem to behold. I once read from an article saying that the little dots were like little pieces of jewels surrounding the dial. They were hardly noticeable at first glance, but under proper lighting, they suddenly "pop up" at you. I just love this subtlety!
Wishing you all a happy new year (soon)!

dmath Wrote:Kelvin - congratulations on the acquisition. And bonus points for coordinating your shirt color with the watch dial.
As for the strap, I'd go with the Santoni in the last photo. A very nice combination in my opinion.
Enjoy your new watch and have a happy new year.
Thanks! you know what, I was wearing a titanium aquatimer chrono (IW371903) when shopping for the Vintage Ingenieur. The color of my watch then matched with my shirt as well! (LOL)
Yeah, I figure the brown would look nicer. Thanks for your opinion!

A great watch indeed, congratulations! The brown strap with its darker accents fits this watch much better: the dial has so many subtle brownish colours, the black strap in contrast is so absolute black, and becomes a bit predominant. Enjoy your beauty!
Kind regards, Paul

I definitely prefer it on the brown Santoni strap.
