Hello,
I am searching for an IWC Ingenieur Ref. 3521 (Cal. 887/2, Stainless steel on steel bracelet, white dial, production years in question 1998 - 2000) in mint condition. Housing/bracelet should not be sanded to fake a mint one.

Thanks for any hints.
I am pretty sure the 3521 is the certified chronometer model and if so I thought they were produced in the late 80's to early 90's but could be wrong on this. Is it the chronometer that you are looking for?

Yes, I am searching for the certified chronometer model 3521.
To my knowledge, it was build from 1993 to 2000/2001.

I prefer the gold and SS version myself, it took me ages to find one at a reasonable price.
Here is mine, it was on my wrist today.
Also I have been wondering does the Ref 3251 qualify as an Ingenieur? It looks like an Ingenieur but doesn't have the Ingenieur logo on it at all and is it anti magnetic at all?

Well, the ref. 3521 has an soft iron inner case and has an excellent magnetical protection, up to 80.000 A/m !
It works identical, as I had described in this post.

Thanks for showing my photo :-)
BTW the ref. 3521 is one of the models, I even like in steel/gold.
Some years ago, I was thinking about a change to steel.
But I decided to keep it as it is, because it looks really great in this combination.
