What a wonderful collection Vishal, thanks for the beautiful pictures. Do you have a hard time picking the watch for the day?
@Mark: go for it! I have seen that piece in RG in Schaffhausen and it's stunning!
Kind regards,
Clemens
PS: you have to update your signature image :-)
Thanks for your good wishes Clemens ! However the plat is not mine, as I said its with me for a short while :( . It belongs to my friend, so the signature image remains......for now.

You could not have chosen a less appropriate qualifier for your relationship with the VC Ingenieur. :-) I only hope that the magnetic field generated by the spell is not too strong, or the watches will become very inaccurate, or stop altogether. :-) Had you chosen any other qualifier, I would not have participated in this thread, since I believe I said all that needs to be said about Ingenieurs that are not amagnetic. To end on a positive note I must admit that, esthetically, they are arguably the best looking Ingenieurs ever. Excellent pictures, BTW. Safe landings.
Clepsydra, The header was meant to emphasize the undeniable attraction of the watch ! and I guess it should get the credit for making you participate in this post. Thanks !
Your beautiful photos are making me wish I had one...
Thanks for sharing!

Omar Khayyám (Persia XI-XII Century) offered that Time should not only be measured in length but also in width due to the intrinsic difference between a minute or other depending on what is happening to the beholder... I wonder how a watch would look like...

Vishal.
I understood. I try to remain positive in the forum, and avoid making negative comments, for the most part, but the word magnetic and VC Ingenieur in the same sentence was too much to resist. The Devil made me do it. :-) I understand, however, the attraction for the design of the VC Ingenieur, which I actually share. The problem is that Ingenieur must be, by definition, amagnetic, IMHO.
