Dear all,
I'm new to this forum. I own a IWC Ingenieur since the 80ies and currently I'm exploring the world of IWC vintage watches. So far I do not own any of those wonderful vintage pieces but I want to buy my first cal. 89 within the next months.
During my research on the web I found the following piece: <http://www.bachmann-scher.de/de/iwc/iwc-vintage-gentlemans-watch-18k-rose-gold-cal.-89-1960ies.html>
However, I'm not sure whether this watch is really completely original, as I haven't seen this type of dial before. So any comments on this watch are welcome.

Hi, welcome to the forum.
Nothing wrong with the dial, except for it's reprinted - imo.
The crown also looks incongruous.
There's a plenty of cal. 83, all good and coeval. Good luck :)
Please consider also we're not allowed in this forum to post links of watches for sale. Please, remove the link if you can, this site is no commercial. Thanks for understanding :)

Thanks for your comments. What exactly makes the crom look incongruous? Are there any reference pages available in the WWW where I can find more information on this?

I converted the link into a text-only URL. However, how can I refer in a case like the above one to a watch / picture without posting any link / URL?

Best wishes J.K.
I've tried to explain by an image:
I know, sometimes a link may help but we can't, a rule's a rule :)
Btw, the crown is not a problem anyway, I would rather focus on the dial which, honestly, looks repainted to me.

I agree with Roberto about the dial, not sure about the crown, and I would add that the price seems awfully high for the watch. I think with looking you could find better examples at a good bit lower price. At least I believe that is true in the US - I don't know which continent/country you are in.
