Is anyone aware of any plans IWC may have to open a boutique in London? There seems to be lots of activity here in terms of high end watch retail outlets, particularly in the Mayfair area, and it seems IWC would be a great addition. I can't find anything by doing a search. Thanks, Jez
I have no knowledge of specific plans, but I was told that within two years IWC might reach a total of 100 boutiques. If that's true, then I can't imagine London wouldn't be on the list.

Bond Street has pretty good representation of IWCs but a Richemont boutique with all the brands would be heaven for me but not my CCs. This idea has even been suggested in Richemont London but not with approval from on high, shame. Breguet London seem to struggle to have an illuminated fully dressed window and with no other brands to share the costs it looks unwelcoming from the outside.

Thanks for the replies. I agree about Bond Street, Greg, but I must say reading all the wonderful reports about GTGs in various boutiques around the globe, particularly New York, makes me hanker after a boutique a little closer.

I am sure if you were to announce you were visiting HK you'd find the welcoming committee ready to greet you. Strange that no one posts anything from some of the boutiques or mentions them. Just wish Richemont would take over the shop on the corner of Bond Street and Picadilly, but it's been a multiple retailers shop ever since I can remember.
