Hi, it seems that two IWC's is not enough and now another model has taken my eye! I like the 44mm Top Gun model (46mm looks a bit big on my wrist) but am not so keen on the Top Gun emblem on the side of the watch, i've recently seen a few of the limited edition 44mm Dopplechrongraph for sale on the internet but am a bit confused regarding the 'PVD' reference alongside where it says Ceramic case, i always thought PVD was simply a coating, anyway, any comments or advice on this model will be greatly appreciated. Regards, Bruce

You're right. PVD is a coating. The 3786 you're referring to has a ceramic case. Maybe the sellers are dealers and not avid collectors and are describing the watches incorrectly. The 3786 is a fantastic watch. So is the 3799-04 Carlson at 46 mm's (on the right). You'll get used to the size :)
