Splendid article - Reading it was womderful but I much more enjoyed the story when he told it to us in person at a collectors gathering a few years back.
I enjoy reading these glimpses of how close we came to losing mechanical watches for good. Makes enjoying the watches now all the sweeter. Thanks for the link, Bill.

Thank you for the article Bill. I hope to meet Kurt Klaus himself one day. It would be wonderful to hear from himself about one of the important points in the history of IWC. Mr Pantli is another great gentleman I've the honour to meet last year.

Thanks for sharing Bill. It is so great to read about the Master. Hope I will be able to meet him one day and thanks him for the wonderful KKDV which remembers me each time I look at it a loved person, who is not anymore among us.
