Next time I see our local Churchill descendant I will ask him if he has the IWC PW, I believe though WSC also had a Breguet PW but what was on his famous heavy mixed link watch chain that he was so often photographed wearing I don't know.

Yes, Sir Winston Churchill had a pocket watch and probably more than one. Interestingly , he owned an 18 kt. IWC cal. 98 Hunter Pocket Watch. This watch has been described by Tölke and King in their IWC literature standard work. I made an image (sorry for the quality) from this book. The watch was offered to Sir Winston at his 70th birthday, 30 November 1944. Eight admiring physicians, all from Zürich, donated the watch to :" The Right Honourable Winston S(pencer) Churchill, the dauntless and cheerful British Prime Minister, Europe's Liberator" Kind regards, Adrian, (alwaysiwc).
