Congratulations on your finds Shing. I've been a fan of compass watches for a long time. The moon-phase being my favourite. Your 3551 is in fantastic condition for an aluminimum watch of its age. In your photo the crystal looks domed.I think it would have had a flat crystal orignally. Fantastic find.. Leo

Gents, many thanks. flying off tonight, so today is all about packing. based on last year's experience, I am already having nightmares about missing my flights.
@ Andrew, I have yet to decide what to bring actually -- default is to bring all those with a strong affinity to this year's collection. I have other brand invites, but I think I will be sticking to IWC.
@ George - can't help u there. I will be one of the beneficiaries, not sponsors, of that foundation's programmes :)
@Leo - the original flat crystal is on the watch I believe. Here's a pic - do feel free to give your input freely.
some extra pics taken this morning...
Can't wait to see u guys. Based on the little I know, the booth this year is going to be sensational.

there's a bar inside the booth if memory serves me correctly, and other fine things ;-)

Master Shing, I think that should be your official title by now :-)
As I will unfortunately miss all of you guys next week we have to set aside both a looong lunch and a looonger dinner at SIHH 2014 - so that you can walk me thru all the 2013 and 2014 acquisitions. And that I am really looking forward to!
Congrats my friend, safe travels and enjoy Geneva.
