Any help identifying it would be much appreciated.
Thank you.
Hmm. It's an earlier automatic movement because the date is slightly inside. It could be a reference 348; see http://www.iwcforum.com/Catalogs/1966/0000025.jpg Google IWC Vintage Catalog Project, and check the 1950s/60s catalogs. The movement is probably a calibre 8531.
If you have a watchmaker remove the caseback we can get the case and movement numbers, nd tell you much more.

Hi Deewayne,
Sure it is. If you take your watch to an authorized IWC dealer (AD for short - and you can find a dealer close to you here on the IWC website under "Retail & Service". They can send your watch to IWC for a full refurbishment. It isn't cheap but you may find it is worth it - and they will give you an estimate before you say yes.

EDIT: Also, does IWC have repair centres around the globe or on-line where people can repair vintage watches and use IWC parts?
I want to specifically replace the glass and straps to IWC branded parts if possible, especially the glass as it is scratched.
Thank you.
