Nick,
First, welcome to the Forum. Perhaps this might be of help. The deployant buckle design has a space opening. If you have never worn one before, the initial thought is to thread the strap through the opening but that is incorrect. The strap goes underneath the buckle and the "hole pin" on the buckle locks down into the desired strap hole for comfort/fit. When taking off, it's easier to grab the sides of the buckle with equal pressure and pull up which should undo/open the clasp with little difficulty. Trying to pull up on the buckle from more of the end makes it hard for the pin to lift out of the hole.
I have not come across any instructional video's but there may be some on You Tube. I hope my comments make sense and are helpful to your request.
Enjoy your new Portugeuse 5001. What variation did you get? Please show us some pic's if possible.

Thanks a lot. It's really helpful.I bought the 500107, which is amazing. I would post some pics after I am going back my hometown.

Haha! That's a much better explanation than mine. Well done, Andy.
Welcome to the forum, Nick. The 500107 is a beautiful watch. You are real lucky to own one. Come back to the forum as often as you can. The members here are helpful and informative. **Warning** You may also develop an addiction to all things IWC in the process. Cheers!

Joe
the clasp is pretty straight forward, you can't really mess it up...

By the way, I removed your two other duplicate new discussions asking the same question --no need to flood the forum, and hopefully that's OK.
