If you have never worn one before, the initial thought is to thread the strap through the opening but that is incorrect. The strap goes underneath the buckle and the "hole pin" on the buckle locks down into the desired strap hole for comfort/fit. When taking off, it's easier to grab the sides of the buckle with equal pressure and pull up which should undo/open the clasp with little difficulty. Trying to pull up on the buckle from more of the end makes it hard for the pin to lift out of the hole.I have not come across any instructional video's but there may be some on You Tube.
