Hi all,
I've just picked up this C89
to go with my two Electronics and 3706
Now the C89 and 3706 are pretty commonplace, but I have yet to see many electronics. A brief search of the forum doesn't show much either - what do you have?

First of all, welcome to the Forum! Since it's SIHH time right now, your topic risks to get burried in all the reveal posts of novelties so don't worry if you don't get many reactions.
As for electronics: usually they are referred to as quartz or by the movement name, beta 21 and I believe beta 22 too. Did you try searching the archives for those words too?
Personally, I have only one quartz watch, but no IWC, it's a Breitling B-1 (pre-superquartz era).

How did you manage to get it?
Enjoy!
The 3706 I worked very hard for, the silver electronic was offered on a different forum very cheap and the blue electronic was a bit of a bargain too. I am beginning the think the C89 is not 100% - the case is 14k not 18k, so i suspect it is the right movement in the wrong case :-(

One more search term: tuning fork. There's been a lot of discussions on this over the years.

I'll change the search terms and see what they throw up - thanks for the advice.
How is Rolex not at a watch fair in Geneva? And I own a Omega Geneve and they are not there either?
