Hi everyone. I am finally back home after an amazing day yesterday at SIHH.
Let me first take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to Michael and Oliver for making it possible for me to attend. I sent Michael an email as a response to this discussion and Michael told me he would "see what I can do". I almost fell off my chair when I got the invitation from Oliver while on a busride from Barcelona airport to a hotel. The same night I arranged a day off and flights and then the waiting, the agonizing waiting...
All in all it was an overwhelming experience. The Palexpo, all the other brands, the IWC booth, the presentation, the new ingenieur line, the watches worn by the collectors almost all of them doubled up, I felt like a kid in a candy store! I must say, what really made a lasting impression on me were the collectors. To walk into a room and feel the warmth, the welcoming handshakes and smiles it made me feel proud to be a part of this forum. Thanks a lot guys for making this "youngster" feel at home in a room in Geneva full of people from all over the world!
Since I had only 3 hours of sleep last night thanks to a combination of a late night whiskey session until 2:00 and a flight leaving it 6:50 i will keep it short and post some pics, I am exhausted. Have a good night.

Just teasing, someone else will post a close-up :)
When I finally arrived back at the hotel, I was clearly the last one...
Thanks for watching and my apologies for the occasional poor quality. Lighting was not always ideal and I need a better camera.

Waimar, It was great meeting you and I thought it was nice we could spend some time together below the hotel having that discussion about IWC watches. Hope to see you in the near future and keep in touch.

What you do may not be so important, but it is very important that you do it well. (my variation of a saying by Gandhi)
Glad you have a nice time in sihh.
