So after SIHH, Kevin and yours truly set off for Zurich and Schaffhaussen to see what trouble we could get into. Fortunately, we had already acquired our heavy metal...
So...we decided to see where these babies were made.
I had been to IWC Schaffhausen twice before but this was Kevin's first visit. Luckily David Seyffer agreed to meet us and give us a tour of the museum. If you want to see pictures of the museum I highly recommend reading Shing's post on Facebook in which he posted pictures of everything there is to see in the museum.
We also met with others like Hannes and Oliver while there. Stopped by the Levinsohn wing to see number 22 also.
I am sure that Kevin will add a few pics later on but here are a few.
We also got a little tour of the watchmaking facility including the minute repeaters.
No Nad, we did not (could not) take the IWC coats home with us.
Then it was back to Zurich for some good Swiss dark beer and some local degustation.

Levinsohn Wing - LOL :-)
Great that Kevin finally too got to see where all his IWC timepieces originated from.
Enjoy tomorrow - and heed the story of Giovanni and Lucio who tho went "just looking" with me into Rue du Praix in Paris last Saterday with zero intention of procuring anything.....and each came home that afternoon with a new IWC on the wrist:-)

Great report Alan and that blue hardware is so awesome! You guys both look like a natural part of the factory. Are you sure you weren't cooking up the next blue in Schaffhausen? LOL!

Tomorrow we hit the Banhofstrasse...
