I will appreciate to have any information about 14K gold pocket watch. Details: Serial #:624408 Serial # of the mechanism: 560988 & 3457 Embossed at the inside of the cover and mechanism: FROBUS SCAFUSIA
Story of the pocket watch: My mother, sisters brothers and parents were deported by the Germans SS on the Passover 1944 from their home in Uszhorod (Czechoslovakia), before leaving their home, my mother has hidden somewhere around the hose this watch that belonged to her grand father. My mother and two of the sister survived somehow the Concentration camps but all other members of the family perished threw the Holocaust. When they came back to their home, they found that it was taken by the Authorities ( the city was occupied by the Russia and belongs now to Ukraine). My mother excavated from the hiding place a box with this Pocket watch which is the only memory left from her family, we do not have any pictures left or anything else. I was given this watch by my mother (she we will be I.G.W 91 next month), the watch looks "bran new" and works perfectly.

1. Google "DateYourIWC" and put the six digit case and movement numbers in the program. That way, you'll find out the date and type of watch.
2. You then can get some more information from my site iwcpocketwatch.com
Good luck, and thanks for a really special story. And best wishes to your mother on her birthday.
Michael,
Thank you so much for your quick and kind answer, I checked the site and found an answer to my question. I wil forward your blessings to my mother and give her the history and details of this IWC Pocket watch. Have a nice day,
