What a week, and one that would not have been made possible without the efforts and generosity of Oliver and Michael and the many others whose tireless efforts brought this magnificent event together. It was my first chance to attend a collectors meeting and I walked away very happy, naturally, but from a much different experience than I expected walking in. It was so much more about the community than just the watches, faces were put to names, anonymity of the forum dissolved, and new friendships were formed. It is why we all return here every day and I look forward to being here throughout 2013 and beyond with all of you.
So now on with the travelogue.....
Getting there from Singapore took some effort and for some reason the 45 minute flight from Frankfurt to Singapore seemed much longer than the first flight...
First views of Geneva
The coffee bar in the booth
The props
The collector pit crew
The legend
The display
The history lesson beginning with the 666
The SL
The pocket watch (did not know this one existed)
A sampling of the new collection
My personal favorite of the collection
The collector's formal dinner
The informal dinner
And lastly, my first interaction with the famed jubilee

Great shots. Looks like you had a nice time. I have to agree with you about the racer being the favorite of the year. The black AMG may tie the number one spot for me too.

I had a chance over dinner to spend some time with the black AMG and agree with you. It has some heft to it which I like and wears super comfortable. Size is perfect.

Great photos Michael! And that pocket swatch is juz perfect. The "pocket Inge" in my opinion. I agree with You that chronograph in that colors of dial is lovely!

All the new Inge looks great, but that jubilee is just beautiful!
