Most IWC springbars have flanges and the Bergeon 6767 (standard) should work with a softstrap on your IWC ref. 3717 watch while for a steel bracelet it might require a modified tool to get into the tight space of the bracelet tube opening near the lugs.
As always, while removing and inserting springbars exercise caution and care so that you don't scratch up the case lugs. This is a job that some watchmakers often struggle with.
