Like any IWC fan it was always my dream to visit Schaffhausen. Thanks to the invitation to SIHH 2013, I could fulfill my wish. My first destination was Zurich and in spite of being delayed at Brussels airport due to heavy snow I could make it in time for a small GTG. It was Andrews idea to complement the chilly weather with a traditional swiss delicacy - Cheese fondue which deserves a special mention as it became a regular feature at our GTGs !! The collection:-
Next day we departed early from Zurich for Schaffhausen. On our way to Zurich train station saw this interesting single car tram:- The visit to the IWC museum and factory followed by lunch with Oliver Siegle and David Seyffer was an interesting experience. Post lunch we decided to visit the town.
In the evening fellow forum member Tom (Sinclair) joined us. Time to bid adieu !

Vishal,
It was a pleasure meeting you last week and like you had my first visit to Schaffhausen. David and Oliver gave Alan and I a great tour and it was exciting to see how complications are put together.
Thanks for sharing, it makes me happy just to see what a good time you guys were having!
Regards,
Jeronimo
Omar Khayyám (Persia XI-XII Century) offered that Time should not only be measured in length but also in width due to the intrinsic difference between a minute or other depending on what is happening to the beholder... I wonder how a watch would look like...

Glad we got a chance to meet. We got the tour after SIHH and David did a great job of bringing it to life.

My words :o)
And so to see - the effort was well worth it (braving the cold) and you and the others enjoyed the experience.
Thanks for sharing.
Best regards
