I'm a new IWC owner, and I'm interested in some of the celebs that wear IWCs, both officially or not. Does anyone have any info? The new Beckham acquisition from Breitling rather changed the dynamic of their image, in my opinion.

The most famous one in my opinion is Boris Becker. I don't know if there is an official list of the top-1000 most famous people (and in what region of the world they are famous), but to me most other ambassadors are not super famous. But they may be chosen because of other merits, like maybe what they stand for.
Kind regards, Paul

Yes, I recognise that one. With some lead in my shoes, but confident by experience, I once in a while ask my facilitator if that kitchen shouldn't be reniewed. I would like that if I were a frequent kitchen user. But her answer is still a firm NO. A new kitchen and a new watch could go together, though, as long as the watch (or the kitchen) is no Siderale...

Nice picture, Shing. But who are they, and what made them famous? So, of course I show that I am not a part of the target group to be impressed by these kind of celebrities. Cheaply, I am rather impressed by beautiful, perfect watches. To show that I am not a cave man: where is that world famous Dutch violinist Janine Jansen? Or the worlds best baduk player, Korean Lee Sedol? But of course, sadly, both classical music and go (baduk, weiqi), although millions of people are active in these fields, are not representing the target group. What that target group is, I am not sure, and I don't care. I like watches, too.
Kind regards, Paul

OK, nice. I suppose I was also asking, what is it about them that makes them IWC ambassadors, and do you agree with the choices? For example, Roger Federer, as the Rolex Ambasaddor, is excellent. Understated, reliable, classy, exceptioanal. Who, in your mind, should be an IWC Ambassador?
I don't believe IWC has any "ambassadors" in the same sense that other brands do? As far as I know, Kevin Spacey is still only considered a Friend of the brand? And he's probably the closest thing to an ambassador that IWC has.
I do remember reading somewhere that David deRothschild was(is) an IWC ambassador?
Kind regards,
Paul
