In the Caribbean today, a venerable 3536 which had received the full Spa treatment just 12 months ago was subjected to some of the most rigorous moisture repellant tests. The watch was thrust from an ambient 28 degrees celsius into an ice bucket to retrieve four ice cubes. The ice cubes were then dropped into a glass of gin and tonic from a height of 15mm creating splashes and ripples. Only yesterday, the same watch was exposed to the shockwaves of a nearby popping champagne cork.
I am delighted to confirm that the 3536 had passed all of these these tests with flying colours.
