So in the U.S., Sunday is the grand daddy football game of the season. Who will be the champs...49'ers or the Ravens?
Regardless of the outcome, which watch in your collection would you deem appropriate for the big game. If you are in the U.S. does anyone have tickets to the game?
For me, something robust and that can handle an accidental 5 layer bean dip spill or a beer bath. My choice...either one of my AT's , the white dial 2000 or my VC-AT. I still haven't decided.

I'll be wearing my CFI, and slightly hope --with a degree of indifference-- that San Francisco wins.
OK - I'll be wearing my Yacht Club, not because it has any relation to football but because it has hardly left my wrist since SIHH. As for the game, the Baltimore quarterback played for my undergraduate alma mater so I'm rooting hard for the Ravens.
A discussion of football makes it obvious how few American members we have... :)

I'll be wearing the CFI, also for no particular reason. BTW, I am also an American. It is possible to be an American and not be a fan of American football or even baseball. :)

I'm still in bed with the flu but watching the forum and the game. Go San Francisco. To all the US football fans out there enjoy yout game day IWC and the event.

Are you ready for some football?
What's your wrist pleasure?

Yes, and it isn't really a ball too...
What you do may not be so important, but it is very important that you do it well. (my variation of a saying by Gandhi)
Both very valid points. Another: in football you never see players writhing on the ground as if they've just been shot. :)
Best regards,

David
In real football, played essentially with the feet, that is unfortunately exactly what we see. :)
