I have just noticed something. The hands on my black dialed 3717 are like the hands on 3878 ie long point sword, versus the hands on the Spitfire silver dialed 3717 which are short point sword. Hope my choice of words is understood clearly. The short point sword hands look so much heavier and imbalanced IMO because the weight of the hands is further out from the centre.
Detail I have only just noticed after 30 months of ownership.

Great watch, congratulations! On the strap, I presume? Looks fantastic too! I wear mine today too, not because of the football, but because I like it, and wanted to time my performance on the weekend puzzle in the paper. Enjoy your beauty!
Kind regards, Paul

Wearing the Mickey Mouse Miramar which is vaguely American. C'mon Beyonce - best looking sync-lisp artist in the world. Supporting the 49ers because they are the closest to Disneyland and Miramar.

Regardless of the outcome, which watch in your collection would you deem appropriate for the big game. If you are in the U.S. does anyone have tickets to the game?
For me, something robust and that can handle an accidental 5 layer bean dip spill or a beer bath. My choice...either one of my AT's , the white dial 2000 or my VC-AT. I still haven't decided.
Are you ready for some football?
What's your wrist pleasure?

Update: Coming up to half-time, lots of action on the field, 14 to 3 Ravens.
Went with the AT2000 white dial. Don't know if it's the beers or the weight of the watch, but I was walking a bit cockeyed. Slapped the VC-AT on other wrist for balance...problem fixed !
Back to the action...waiting for my ex-wife Beyonce to sing LIVE at half-time show....

Yes, I got mine on the strap. Though I generally prefer sporty watches to be on bracelets, I thought the ardoise dial and brown strap provided great contrast. I may add a bracelet if I run across one at an attractive price, but so far I am enjoying it on its strap.
Best regards,

Jim
