I bought my first IWC pocket watch the other day (along with my 2nd and 3rd)and even though it doesn't say IWC on the dial it is an IWC. The name on the dial is Andreas Huber who is a premier German retailer locate in Munich and have been selling watches for over 150 years. In the 1940's IWC made several models for Andreas Huber, which did not state International Watch Company on the dial or on the case, instead they were branded with the stores name and the model "Urania" which were considered the highest line in the group. It has a C 97 movement and you can see the IWC Probus Scafusia seal on the movement. It is in very good condition and keeps excellent time.

Thanks Michael
Do you know if IWC would issue a certificate of authenticity on one of these watches? The movement and case were supplied by IWC ( so I believe) ( did they supply the dial also?)

IWC supplied the complete watch to Adreas Huber. IWC issued the now extinct Extract from the Ledger for my Urania and there is not reason why it should not issue a Certificate of Authenticity to yours.

Six bridge movements are my favorite.

Congratulations, Shane.
I like the dial design with its blue steeled hands.
