Hello my IWC Friends! I have request for You. I have wedding in next year (2014) in June, but in this year, in June I will go with my Fiancee to Greece, to Santorini on wedding photo session, because we got engaged there. That photo session will be so varied, because our photographer with her wife are so crazy and they have many brilliant ideas. So I need watch "to everything" and I would like to wear the same watch on our wedding day. What is Your opinion? What is Your type? P.s. I was thinking about IWC to 15.000 Euros

I would go for an elegant, timeless piece. From the present collection I would take the white dial Portuguese Handwound. Or the white dial Portofino 8 Days Handwound.
Kind regards, Paul

I agree with Paul - the 5454 handwind Portuguese white dial would be a perfect wedding watch that is adaptable enough that it would look great in almost any photo setting.
As an alternate, the VC Ingenieur would be a good choice.

I would highly recommend either of these - will be within your budget, certainly if u hunt around well...
the 1993 ref 5441 Jubilee, and the ref 5251 'original portofino' or 'Spiegelei'

I totally agree with Shing. Of course I'm prejudiced, I met my wife-to-be wearing my Portuguese Jubilee and wore it when we were married. The perfect watch!

Thanks Guys for replies! I think that my choose will be Portofino Eight-Days..or BP! Because You know...that session will be everywhere...on the pool...on the beach...an "not only" in suite. So I think about BP...
I hate to disagree with the replies of esteemed members of the forum but there is clearly only one correct answer to your question: you wear whichever watch your fiancé tells you to wear. :)
In all seriousness, either the Eight Days or the Hand Wound are great choices. And most importantly, congratulations!

Portuguese Regulateur in White Gold. No other watch can be so special (as the event) and elegant at the same time - I wore mine during wedding and also during the birth of my twins, and actually also today ;-) You should be able to get one for that price on the usual second hand dealers.
