Since it's been a few weeks since SIHH, I thought I'd share some thoughts and photos. I wasn't sure I would even get to Geneva because of the snow, but the problems were solved. So off to the event!
First, I am honored to be a part of such a fine group of people who have a common interest in IWC. There are the watches, and the pagantry that is SIHH, but the friendliness of the people, both insider IWC employees and the collectors, make this week, and indeed this forum, such a special place for me. So thank you my friends, those at SIHH, those on the forum, those I've met, and those I hope to meet in the future.
Now, we've all seen the amazing watches, and the IWC booth, but here are a few more pictures-and sorry ahead of time for my limited photo skills. They are random- no order.
Two of the most knowledgable vintage IWC collectors, Adrian and Antonio
We had wonderful food- this was the appetizer before the gala IWC=Petronas event
I'm trying to gain IWC knowledge by osmosis, sitting between these two. And I also have a big smile because of my newest IWC, on my wrist-
Two geniuses of design-one from the front end, the other the back end.
And another picture of an amazing man
No one has ever seen this before: these three characters were doing a rap! Yes, it's true!
Two incredible friends-their smiles just make me smile!
There were lively discussions.
Once again, thank you to Michael, Oliver, David, Gianfranco, and of course ALL of the IWC forum friends- I only posted a few pictures- all of you should be put in there!

Thanks Nelson for sharing a wonderful report with us! If I look at these photos, you must have had a great time. I still have good memories of our gatherings in the past! Peter
