Looking very tasty and I have to say one of my grail models. A Santoni belongs on that watch, even my steel 7 day auto looked better for a Santoni strap.

I'm not much a fan of gold watches, but I know that gold is a difficult metal to work. So it's a credit to see the pristine finish applied by Schaffhausen. One thing does concern me though? The finger print that you mentioned on the moonphase disc that you say stems from the original assembly of the watch. How could that be? Did you mention that to Schaffhausen? Looking at the watch again,it certainly looks the bees knees. Kenneth.

It was not a big deal. I was the only one seeing it. I lived with it easily for six years.

Happy for you it is back. It is such a beautiful watch, and having it after six years again like new must be a great feeling. Apparently IWC is doing a marvelous job there in the SPA.

Every time I send a watch for service it bothers me a little at the expense and time loss of doing so...until it comes back looking like great and seeming like a newly acquired purchase. Absence does make the heart grow fonder.
It looks just great, I can only imagine how much you missed it...
Enjoy it!

Wow, wow, wow! Your PPC looks spectacular, Bill! This is my grail watch and yours was the first one I ever got to see 'in the metal.' It looks brand new!
Best regards, Jim

And to have it back in pristine shape, certainly makes it all that more sweeter.
Yes agree too. Round it off with a Santoni strap!
Best regards
