He was opening some boxes to chek where his Golf Club watch is. Finally he was opening a small box at the bottom of his safe.
I heared the comment: "Ah here they are, I was allready looking for them."
It was not the seached Golf Club....just some other negligible watches. Just have a look....
It is really an unimportant box. Next time I will ask him, to sell me the box (before he opens it), for a song ;-)
Every now and then I go into a bottle shop looking for a bottle of wine and you pick up one bottle off the shelf only to find a complete prize of a bottle behind it, that is about as close I ever get to an experience such as this - whilst the bottle of wine is always a welcome find, that collections is a stunner and not something I would be forgetting about, a set of stunning watches!
Cheers,
Ben

Ralph,
Don't know how old your watch friend is, but I would surely encourage him to visit the doctor for a physical to rule out the possibility of dementia setting in.
With that collection ( including a repeater I see ), no way would I forget where those babies are located.
On the bright side, if dementia has come into play, everytime your watch friend looks at his collection it will be like "New Watch Day " Ummm..not so bad after all !

Just to justify my friend a bit:
I don't think he has really forgotten this watches, he probably just placed them in a hurry in that uncommen box after was showing them to an other person. Normally he is quite well organized.
I found it just surprising to find this collection in just one small box. I would need a complete room (and the complet heart) for such a collection watches.
Regards
Ralph

I'd positively get a heart attack and die - if that happened to me!
Fantastic little box - many thanks for sharing your friends collection.
Cherish his friendship. As MF says a great friend to have and one after my own heart too!
Best regards
Mark
