Outstanding report. These mini GTG's are a special part of participation on the forum. It's nice to see the familiar faces as well as the IWC's. Next month I will be in Amsterdam for another GTG of forum friends. Stay tuned.

Very interesting report from you Thang. Meeting fellow forummers, beautiful IWC watches, great locations & food are a perfect recipe for fun. BTW the red pilot PC looks good on your wrist ! Seriously ! Thanks for this great update.
However, the record for a day-trip just for a GTG has to go with Arne.
He travelled 720 km each-way! (that’s 448 miles for our American cousins).
Okay well, it wasn’t just for a basic GTG as we got to test drive the latest limited edition pilots at Harrods as posted here.

Waiting for Arne’s arrival at Paddington Station.
It was a rare crisp blue sky sunny day in London.
Here is our esteemed German forummer in front of Buckingham Palace.

But there was no time to properly see touristy sights…
it was time to go to Harrods!
Joined by forummers Ralph and Greg –
it was straight down to business!
We all tried on the latest pilots:

Gosh I *need* to get a perpetual one of these days…
A detailed comparison of the DFB Big Pilot and the Tribute to Japan Big Pilot shall come in a future post!
Thanks again to Iunal for his great help and patience
Then it was time for lunch.
Arne’s first time in London…
So we have... French food!
Customary table shot
I don’t care how hard this might be to read… this is one cool watch!

Good conversation and real camaraderie.

Gentlemen, always a pleasure and looking forward to the next one wherever it may be!
