Then, lovely as they are, they are not for me. :) Dislike cars going (too) fast as much as airplanes going (too) slow. Great watches. I am still awaiting for my first Porsche. Should be just around the corner. :)
Thanks for sharing, Heiko, these IWC PD are all really very nice.

Jeronimo
Omar Khayyám (Persia XI-XII Century) offered that Time should not only be measured in length but also in width due to the intrinsic difference between a minute or other depending on what is happening to the beholder... I wonder how a watch would look like...

Heiko your pics, your posts aren't never boring at all. They always record interesting features and technologies of IWC and made me to buy a NOS IWC PD 1993 catalogue last time.
The angled outer tachymeter scale enables you very well to control your speed whilst driving your Swabian 4x4 on and off-road. ;-)

Boring? ABSOLUTELY NOT !!!!
In fact, with this type of post you also start to get Giovanni re-thinking his entry strategy into "Vintage". He knows (has been well advised by other known Forumers) that he needs to make that move - but he is lost as to which direction.
With this very interesting, all but boring post - he (and others) learn more about IWC heritage.
Thanks for posting Heiko (and I guess you know we always enjoy your photo ensembles).
No other IWC has this feature and such big numbers.
By the way, this one is in perfect shape and extremely light, by using coated aluminum case and delrin bracelet.
Sorry for boring you with such old features and technologies.
Regards
