Just got done watching the Academy Awards and spotted from the audiance shots 4 IWC's. Two were 5001's , one Di Vinci, and a PPC. Couldn't make out any from the winners.

dmath Wrote:Andy - any idea who was wearing the IWCs? And were you pausing the DVR or do you have highly developed IWC radar?
@David...No idea who the audience attendees were. I imagine they were more of the "behind the scenes" people. Only a guess. The camera shots were long and close-up enough with the subjects wrists in the perfect position/exposure to make them out. On a 55" HD screen, detail is crisp. Now that I think about it, one of the guys looked like Nad...Hey Nad, did you by any chance do a quick flight to L.A. Sunday ? Wouldn't surprise me (LOL) As far as radar goes, no luck. However, I think I have a canine nose as I can smell a IWC coming a mile away.
@ Thang....it was definetly the current Di Vinci case design. They're unmistakable ! Looked good with a tux for sure.
Also saw a couple of Pan's on the pre-show "red carpet" coverage.
