I was lucky enough to pick up this piece yesterday to round out my growing collection of these magnificent timepieces that keep us here on this forum. I have had the dilemma of many potential purchases of late, and the green light to add but I just could not decide. Nice dilemma but tiring after a while.
It was at SIHH that the search really began in earnest and a glass of wine with David one night that tipped me over the edge. Having just picked up his newest addition the day before we spent a lot of time studying it in every perfect detail.
Being the enabler he has quickly become, David was quick to point out that I had a couple of significant gaps in my collection - Portuguese and Silver Dial. But I could have only one.....what to do. Why not have both I decided, I deserve it like all of us...
Big thanks also to Kevin and Alan for their help along the way.

Michael,
Your YC looks great, after seeing yours you have me rethinking my strategy. Yesterday David posted pictures of a black dial YC and now you with the white dail, I'm really missing mine ....

The current Yacht Club is a watch that simply grows on one each time you see it. This specific variant of Übervirus with white dial is almost as deadly as the Volvo Ocean Race Carbon Fibre version.

congrats, and nicely done. Love the yacht club chrono. I recently completed a I-II-III trio, and my YC1 is momentarily on my wrist right now -- and I am quite certain I want the various versions of the YC1 too...

Congratulations Michael. The YC is a great piece. I am missing one in my collection, and I am pretty sure that this year I will add one, probably not black, probably not white, ...;-)
Michael - Congratulations. New watch day is better than Christmas. The silver dial YC is a stunning piece and the perfect addition to your collection. I'm happy to have played a very small role in your acquisition. Enjoy!
