What do you think of the new Portofino faces? There are new faces for the Automatic Gold and the Eight Day Gold. Adroise and Silver respectively on/under the IWC/Collection/Protofino website.

The new Portofino 8 Days Handwound with rose gold case and white dial looks like an instant classic to me. If I would like this watch in gold I would prefer this version over the one with an ardoise dial. I never quite liked the combination rose gold case ardoise dial. I guess the main stream rose gold watch lovers are very well served with this new watch.
Kind regards, Paul

I may be wrong, but just looking at the Portofino options, these have been in the boutiques for a while now. Perhaps they have more broadly distributed them now?

The workbook states they became available in September 2012.
Workbooks? What are these please? How do you obtain one?
Apologies, Paul. I meant catalogue. Though there is a workbook too. These have all the watches but also include watch strap/bracelet options. However, I think these are reserved for ADs and the boutiques only (corrections welcome).

The workbook states they became available in September 2012. I've yet to see either one as the boutique near me doesn't have them yet.
I like the automatic with the gold case and ardoise dial. Those colors compliment each other well
