Looking for a Vintage ref. 325 Portuguese. Dear Sirs, I'm looking for a vintage ref. 325 Portuguese in original shape. Of course, I know it's a very expencive. Please, do anyone knows where I can find it? Kind regards. Leopoldo alias olivecrona72
Unfortunately we can't have "wanted to buy" posts here since we are non-commercial. But if you post your e-mail address then perhaps someone can help privately.
Please be wary of fakes --including very good ones. Get the watch authenticated by IWC.

Dear Leopoldo,
I wish you all the best in your quest for a nice Ref. 325!
This great timepiece is one of the nice things in life for which a good bank account is not enough. There were only a very small number produced, probably only a handful change hands per year, so you have to be VERY patient. You will encounter many fakes, sometimes well fabricated marriages and also unscrupulous sellers, but in the end, your dream watch will be waiting for you!
Although it talks about another very desireable Portuguese, the Jubilee from 1993, have a look at the excellent article from Terry Russel "Watch Expeditions: The Search for the KaviRama Jubilee", you can find it via the IWC Forum. This is what it takes to get a Ref. 325!

Time is something invented by the Swiss to help sell more watches
