We look forward to your travelogue.@ Dick, never fear - last year when faced with a similar predicament (a NYC GTG and shoes that had given up the ghost") 2 forumers took me out shopping and ensured a good pair of shell cordovan Alden's. And that Folks is what is so great about this forum. We have the watches - but more than that we have the friendships, comaradie and watch-support of so many true friends - and because of these friendships it's easy for me to understand why and what makes Ralph fly across the big pond for a GTG.

This morning I can't believe I ventured out to pursue some non-watch interests. Man, it was just showering down wet snow that here in the city quickly turned to slush and generated slush covered sidewalks with huge puddles at each intersection. I don't know exactly how far I walked on my rounds this morning, but I think my shoes are about to dissolve.
