Beautiful watch Hebe..i think it may have been allowed a stepped crystal and that dial and still remained nos if it was around 17xx.

Hi Heiko, congratulations. Your 666 A and the wine should prefectly match together in considering, wearing and tasting. ;)

I also accept Martin's suggestion for an Inge meeting, count me in.
I am positive that there will be a lot vintage Inges coming together. :)

Intresting what's been said about the non date dial (though it's easier to imagine someone got thier dates and non dates crossed), by the early to mid '60's the Hamilton 6b offering was complete with a split iron/brass dial (albeit fused together)..obviously somewhere along the line somebody gave a shout to what would suffice (amag)..wonder how thick a coating of the correct material (on a mm's worth of brass) you'd need to qualify for this new/reduced rateing. It would take someone very clever to work that out, someone with a bit form in the job (^).
