I dont have much add here other than than to reinforce what a wonderful time was had by all. This is an intensely personal hobby that we share, which makes brand-sponsored events such as these all the more important; putting faces to the names of fellow collectors and getting to know the people who bring us these marvelous mechanical wonders serves to reinforce the connection that we all feel toward our watches and to one another.
For my part, particularly now that I've been in this game as long as I have, it's the connections that I make with my fellow collectors that keep me coming back for more. Yes, the new Inges are fantastic, and yes, there was some serious arm candy in situ, but for me the best part about the weekend was seeing Kevin, Bill, Alan and Evan again, as well as finally meeting "Rave", "Ardoise" and Dick et al (it goes without saying that Patrick, Liana, Badr, Robert, Gianfranco, Maria and Arnaud always bring a smile to my face).
Anyway, all this to say that there's a reason that I love IWC, and it has as much to do with people who surround the brand as it does with the watches that brought me here in the first place.

Which Perpetual strikes your fancy? Several were floating around the GTG.
Many congratulations, everyone. You certainly had fun! Thanks for sharing.

Omar Khayyám (Persia XI-XII Century) offered that Time should not only be measured in length but also in width due to the intrinsic difference between a minute or other depending on what is happening to the beholder... I wonder how a watch would look like...
