Hi Sven,
Yes, unfortunately the Vintage Collection has been phased out. The VC-Inge is a Forum favorite and the variations that were produced always brought much discussion, great pic's and favorable comments. The Collection will be missed. However, if you are interested in a particular model, a search of AD's and Boutiques will hopefully find some inventory remaining and the piece you seek.
Perhaps you can post your e-mail address with any interests and Forum members can contact you with some leads since the Forum is a non-commercial site.
BTW, which Inge variation do you have...any Pic's ?

I guess my quest to look for the vintage aquatimer will now be even harder, sob sob...
Thomashan,
Located in Silicon Valley, USA I would venture to say, near impossible to find a new one from a Boutique/AD. In fact, I recently spoke with both the new South Coast Boutique and IWC Concierge about any availability of the VC-AT Steel variation as a friend of mine who admires mine was considering one too. Both the Boutique and Concierge told me they have had numerous requests for the VC-AT but are unable to order. Hitting the secondary market is probably the best bet right now to secure a "mint" piece. However, as time passes, it becomes more difficult to acquire like new condition models. Overseas Forum members might be able to provide leads as availability may be more positive in those markets, but unfortunately in U. S. A....U S out of luck.
I believe I saw one this January at the IWC Boutique in Taichung Top City (Taiwan). I was there to get a rubber strap for my AT Chrono and as I was looking around I'm pretty sure I saw one at an inside shelf with the rest of the ATs. Probably if you send a mail to IWC Taiwan they'll be able to help: infotaiwan@iwc.com
All the best and let us know if you got it!
Regards,
Jeronimo

Maxim,
Welcome to the VC-AT club. Excellent wristshot with such clarity. It really shows off the beauty of this unique piece.
BTW, should you want to dress it up, order the OEM black croc strap on the Platium variation. It really makes for a nice look.
If I may ask, what part of the world were you able to acquire this from ? Also, I am familiar with the term NIB ( new in box ) but not with the letter L contained in the abbreviation....translation please.

Andy, thanks for the warm welcome, Pictures don't do this watch justice, it's increadible in real life, espicially under direct sunlight, ARC gives beautiful bluish hue to the black dial, I've only seen this effect with IWC timepeaces. L stands for "like", LNIB is like new in box, which means I bought it from private owner, but in new in box condition. I do have Santoni brown strap which is direct fit to this aquatimer, I have put it on and took it off right away because it looked too thin and delicate for the watch. Aquatimer requires thick strap, whether rubber or leather, in my opinion. Anyway, this watch is great addition to my collection and I'm glad I've managed to find one. BTW, I'm in Russia, and in my hunt for the watch I considered to buy one from US, but eventually found one in Russia, in Samara citi. Regards, Maxim
since the vintage collection diappeared from the IWC Homepage, I was wondering if the collection expired?
I am enjoying an Engineer from this collection for more than three years now.
Cheers
Sven

If anyone out there is reading this and know where to get a VC-AT, let me know, thanks!
