What you do may not be so important, but it is very important that you do it well. (my variation of a saying by Gandhi)

I have spotted this beautiful 1920s IWC watch in my local jewellers, and will be going in for a closer look. ...Maybe one should not discuss taste, but calling this watch beautiful is quite a stretch for me. The sixth sense should shout fake, just starting because the way it looks. And, as far as I know, IWC didn't produce Pilot's watches in the 1920's, so if an advertisement would mention this, it would be based on wrong information.I would ask the jeweller why he thinks it is genuine, why the price mentioned should be right. To me, the jeweller is a bit suspicious too.Kind regards,Paul
