This is my first post.
I am planning to buy IWC Romain Portofino Gold (Jaeger LeCoultre Caliber), REF: 3209.
But i see 2 differences between model, that I want to buy and another model, which was discussed at this forum:
1) "My" model:
- local official IWC reseller said, it is original, but in my country official IWC shop is in huge shopping mall, so it's not as trustworthy as traditional old-shool showroom.
- "My" model has "SWISS MADE" letters at the sides of the digit "VI" and "International Watch...." by Italics.
Here is similar photo:
2) Model discussed here, in this topis:
It has "SWISS MADE" above the digit "VI" and "SCHAFFHAUSEN" is typed by big letters, CAPS.
Why? Which look is correct?
I will be very grateful for your response.

I think both are correct. The first photo depicts an earlier dial version, but I am unsure whether both are Reference 3209s. IWC made a few similar watches during the early 1980s or so; for the first one I suggest seeing the inside caseback markings to confirm reference.
