Friday Forum Fever --how to get a post to qualify

As you know, there's now a forum post chosen to be highlighted every Friday on FaceBook and Twitter. This assures the writer of a huge audience and also, hopefully, recruits audience for the forum. I therefore would encourage posts here that qualify.
But it's not easy to select an appropriate post. Permit me to suggest a few hints that might be helpful:
1. Be careful about misspellings and errors in grammar, especially in the subject line and the first sentence. I've had to dismiss several very good posts for these reasons.
2. Have a short, catchy subject line. Headlines count, here and in the universe.
3. Have a good introductory sentence, since that too is picked up on the social media republication.
4. Have a really nice photo at the beginning or early in your post. These other social media channels are especially graphic, and a good image is needed.
Now --let me illustrate to you a problem with a great post that I can't use. I really like supporting charitable events, and especially when done by a terrific forum member and a good friend. I also like interesting photos, but when the beginning is lengthy text it's hard to highlight an image. So my heart fell when I realized I can't use Andrew Thomas' wonderful post about his collection, about Laureus and his forthcoming amazing bicycle ride. But look at his post --even the title is so long it's hard to republish.
No criticism, Andrew. It's a "post of the week" (informally) and a terrific cause, as well as a wonderful collection. But it just doesn't work for "Friday Forum Fever". Perhaps next time.
Hopefully the suggestions here are helpful for future posts.
