Hello Forumners
The guy on the picture wearing the IWC cap and Grosse Flieger is the Italian Formula 1 driver Gimmi Bruni. I wonder if he's officially sponsored by IWC or just a regular IWC fan?
Right now I have a very small supply of new-style caps held up at Customs, which I should receive early next week. I haven't seen them but I am lead to believe that they are similar or identical to this sample (sorry for the poor image).
I plan to give at least a few away in a week or two with a drawng. Plus a few other goodies --press kits, DVDs, etc. Stay tuned.

yes, i saw this too but i cannot find any trace of official sponsorship on the minardi f1 web site:

guess it must be either a personal preference or personal sponsorship??
I wouldn't mind having the cap though (hint hint)
he also showed up at the "Cousteau-evening" in Geneva together with Boris and Ben Becker.

I'd prefer the watch he's wearing thanks.
....I think that IWC hat is the nicest. Next I'd choose my Panerai hat which is quite fine as well.

Does IWC sell them anywhere on this site? if so, I haven't found it. It's most likely a promotional item only (my guess.)
