As we heared, we can't influence: - who gets an forums Ingenieur - and whe we are happy to be selected, which number the watch will have.
As I am a little bit ill with numbers and statistics, I'd be interested in which would be your preffered ID when you could get a watch and could choose the number ?
As many knows, I like the pocket watch caliber 77 (I'd say the best IWC caliber ever built) i'd preffer the 77.
Enclosed the picture of a c77 21 J "Precision Quality" version (marked in Tölke/King as 23J).
Best regards

Any number IWC is gracious enough to give me :>)
But if I had to chose I think I would pick any sub 10 number (except 4) or 88 which in the East is associated with double luck! Warm regards, Daniel Kremens

there are several
I'm also somewhat crazy when it comes to numbers (e.g. i've 101010 kilometers at the teller).
Last year it would have been 25 (25th anniversary) It could be 001 (mirroring 100), but it is also my birthday. It could be 50, when I become 50 years. For this watch it could be 80 (the first two digits of the calibre).
Bottom line: I'll wait for the number and invent a link to something!

as the 14th is my birthday that would be an appropriate number. Might even be a lucky number...
Alas we can only hope and pray...
Best of luck to everyone from Istanbul
