THE COLORS OF TOP GUN:
CERATANIUM®
PILOT’S WATCH CHRONOGRAPH 41 TOP GUN CERATANIUM®
A case, crown and pushers made of IWC’s developed material Ceratanium® lend the Pilot's Watch Chronograph 41 TOP GUN Ceratanium® an all-black design.
THE COLORS OF TOP GUN: CERATANIUM
Black, but not completely dark, tactical, matte – just like technical components of supersonic jets: Ceratanium® is the color of a uniquely engineered material with a sophisticated manufacturing process. IWC and Pantone® specified this color as IWC Ceratanium®.
ALL-BLACK DESIGN
The Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 TOP GUN Ceratanium® is the first 41-millimetre Pilot’s Chronograph in full Ceratanium®, featuring a case, crown, and pushers made of this innovative material. Subdued print and luminescence, as well as a tinted sapphire glass back, underscore the tone-in-tone design.
HIGH-PRECISION CHRONOGRAPH
At work inside is the IWC-manufactured 69385 caliber movement – a highly robust, reliable, and precise chronograph movement in column-wheel design, assembled by skilled watchmakers by hand and rigorously tested at the IWC Manufakturzentrum in Schaffhausen.
AN ENGINEERED MATERIAL
The lightness and robustness of titanium combined with a hardness and scratch-resistance similar to ceramic: Developed by IWC, Ceratanium® not only impresses with its outstanding properties, but also with its unique, matte black color. The metallic Ceratanium® hue emerges on the surface of the material while the components are fired in a kiln.
